This autumn I got one of the biggest shockes of my life. The art community of Deviant Art suddenly denied me looking at completly natural things. Here are my original thoughts on the subject:Â
And by the way, I am suddely not supposed anymore to be capable to see “mature content”. Does Deviant Art think I’ll go insane, just by looking at more or less naed bodies???? Yes, I am 17, but I am a human for god’s sake, and I DO KNOW how my body looks, and I DO KNOW what bodies look
like. It’s completly natural: Have you ever seen a person without a body? It’s impossible!
I thought Deviant Art was a site of art, and of some sort of freedom. Limited of course, but still a place where free speach and values were appreciated. And yes, I do take this very personal.
Deviant Art denies me to look at my cousin’s art (I could always look at it in rel life, but that’s not my point) and so many else’s as well. And it’s not fair, nor any point in doing it this way anyway. You can always choose NOT to look at a thing, but not being let the oppertunity?
I am actually hurt, as a human being, for not being considered important enough to be able to take my own choices. I love DA, and the community, but now I can’t look at all the art which I might even like.
And I am deeply sorry, sorry for the strange ways of mankind.

You’re so right about this one. Although it is slightly inspirational (to me at least), that a day could make so much difference in a life.
Surely many events may occur to change your life in a day, but to think that a day of age itself can change the world’s perspective like that.
Anyway it’s bloody annoying! I’ve always thought it more than slightly paradoxical that you can have sex at the age of 16, and yet you cannot watch pornography until you are 18.
